You do a really nice job taking us through the RV’s. The only issue is the amount of times you measure things. At first it was super annoying but then we made a drinking game out of it! Every time you pull out your tape measure, we drink!
Love it. Thank you!
Kinda stinks they have done away with the three way fridge. Was nice to run on propane when we stayed in the state parks.
love the shower
🙋🏾♀️ Thank you for all the work you do! I really like the Ibex! It almost has the feel of a tiny house on wheels. It would be nice to have some sort of eating surface. The Lance has some great features. The only thing I don't understand is why they'd put a propane run fridge in such a nice looking, modern RV?
Thanks Kathy! We appreciate the kind words. We are in FL and shooting video has been brutal down here this time of year. Ugh! I agree on the IBEX and Lance is in the process of moving to 12v fridges so be on the lookout for that! Thanks for watching! Mike
First thing I always change is the bed mattress.
That's very smart! Most RV mattresses are terrible! Thanks for watching! Mike
#1 nope #2 I like this one it has a lot of potential #3 nope
Hi David - thanks for giving your opinion of each trailer! Mike
Where can these items be purchased?
Go into the video description and we have links to every item. Thanks! Mike
Would love to see you do a video on Winnebago Vita, 2024 model!!
Hi Julie, We haven't seen one anywhere but we would like to review one too! Stay tuned because we will be on the lookout for one to review. Thanks for the suggestion! Mike
I would want no slides
Hi Nikki, Thanks for sharing your opinion! Mike
Very informative video thank you! For my internet I use HomeFi and its worked the best. I've tried other products too but I just wasn't happy with their performance. HomeFi connects me to the nearest strongest signal and is affordable as well. I've also struggled with internet in campgrounds or while traveling, so I love having my one source of reliable internet being HomeFi!
Excellent information than you
Thanks very much! Glad we could be helpful! Hope you have a great weekend! Mike
Really good info here, thanks. Unfortunately T-Mobile maybe changing their rules on this service. I'm hoping we'll have another option. I am currently using TMobile Home in my camper but they are going to start enforcing the Home service only part of the contract. The TMobile Away plan has been announced but not officially released yet. $160/month. :-(
Yeah the word is out...but the T-mobile for RVers will be expensive at $160 a month. Whenever they begin enforcing this new rule we will cancel and just rely on StarLink and our Verizon chip. At least we can pause Star Link and not pay for it when we don't use it. And the Verizon chip allows us to upgrade or downgrade on the fly. We will see what happens.
All out of our price range😢
Don't fret... these are all MSRP and you should never pay that. You can negotiate the prices down or you can buy used and save a bunch of money too!
I really appreciate this video - thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I like the both the Forest River and The Lance. But I think I like the Lance the best. Love the bedroom size. And the bug bed. Thank you make and Susan. Hope you had a great Father’s Day Mike!
Hi Sherri, I had a really nice Father's Day! Thanks very much! MIke
The Admiral looks really nice, but why did they put seats for 8 people in the front (4 dinette, 2 cinema seats, 2 driver/passenger)? The Coachmen is even shinier and more elegant, but has the same weird seating. In contrast, the layout from the Thor really shines more practical, but a short bed in the master bedroom? So, sadly no motorhome for me this time... 😉
Hey - they can't all be winners. The seating seems weird to me too. Could have been designed much better imho. Thanks for watching! MIke
Forest River is making so nice stuff... awesome!
Yes they are! Thanks for watching! Mike
Love the Lance
That's a good one!
I liked the Jaycee Jay Flight SLX8 but would want to modify the back bunks into a single sleeping space with some storage above and a way to shimmy down the side of the bed. We have an adult son who is disabled and these types of bunks he can’t get into. Also liked the Forest River Ibex 20BH but again the bunks would be a problem for our son. Do these companies do any kind of modifications like that?
Winnebago will make some custom adjustments but I'm sure it will cost quite a bit through them. There are RV Techs who will do remodeling. They are hard to find but they are out there. Hope that helps, Mike
They do have shower liners now!
Good to know!
The 2nd trailer did NOT have a dinette! How do u protect ALL the glass doors when traveling down the road ?
Is it necessary to have a dinette? And you just drive down the road - I'm not sure how you would protect the glass. We have glass doors and shower doors in our rig and none have broken for over 2 years. Same in our Class C RV...Have you had glass doors break in your rig? If so can you tell me about that? I'm curious now - lol!
I only like U shape dinettes cuz like to elevate feet. Also tubs.
Haha! We have a dinette with bench seats that face each other and Susan catches me putting my feet on her bench all the time - lol!
This may be a weird question, and maybe you know the answer with your experience, but why does no one offer a floor plan with the kitchen in the front, bathroom in the back, and a murphy bed slide out in the middle? You would get decent size L-shape kitchen, a good size bathroom, and with the bed up, you could use the couch with a stow away table. Plus in front of the couch, you could have a nice size window with storage to give a great view of the camp site. I would think you would even have space to get to the bathroom with the slide out closed. I'm assuming there is a reason this type of layout isn't offered, but I have no clue what it is.
Check out these two videos we made of trailers with front kitchens!! ua-cam.com/video/W2emp_WCKP4/v-deo.htmlsi=mZTsc-XoFcV7L_kz ua-cam.com/video/iSwhcM63HDU/v-deo.htmlsi=zSEQZ7D0TBGrGcof Thanks for watching! Mike
Again ,the prize!!!!! And it doesn't pass the elbow test !!! No more comments.......
Hi Ronald...thanks for watching! Mike
Loved the 2nd trailer. Bathroom was great and tons of storage. Decor is better color wise these days too.
We totally agree! It's about time we see a decor other than brown or grey. Thanks for watching! Mike
Split or hinged mattress on the Forrest River?
I am not 100% sure because I never took the comforter off the bed but I would guess it is a regular mattress with no split. There is probably a tilt a bed feature and you have to raise the head of the bed for the slide to come in and close completely. Hope that helps! Mike
Camp queen beds for the most part, are too short for me since I’m 6’ 2”. Most RV beds are too short for me
Hi Lawrence, Check out this video we made for taller folks looking for trailers: ua-cam.com/video/z6iSJmKIDxA/v-deo.html Thanks for watching! Mike
Single bowl sink
Seems to be what most people like... Thanks for sharing your comment! Mike
Every video on half ton towables will be accompanied by the “no half ton should to this” crowd spouting gloom and doom predictions. I have towed literally thousands of miles with a 2020 F-150 3.5 ecoboost with max tow package. My Open Range 297rls is well within the limits on tow capacity and hitch weight. I run 10 ply tires, have Tembrels on the axles and the 10 speed transmission in tow mode eliminates any pushing that may occur on steep grades. With the right combination of truck and trailer it is more than possible, within the legal limits and certainly safe.
Thank you Bruce!!!!! Finally a voice of reason! Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike
They are all beautiful and would serve their purposes depending upon what one needs. I personally could be fine with the first one (I know I'm in the minority but it's just me and my two cats)! Thanks for your great, as always, review!
Thanks for sharing!! And for the kind words!!!! Hope you have a great week! Mike
Great video! Thank you. This was very helpful. What kind of 30 amp line do you connect to the surge protector?
Glad you liked the video! Not sure what you mean by "what kind of 30 amp line do you connect to the surge protector." I just connect the electric line that is connected to the camper to the surge protector. There isn't a special line needed... Not sure if I'm answering your question or not so please reach back out if not. Thanks, Mike
Thank you so much for responding. I guess I’m wondering what the 30 amp line you’re using looks like on both sides. My RV has 3 prong 15a 120v
@@dusky_rebel We have a 30-amp line on our RV, and it has three prongs. The other end of our line is wired into the RV. 30 Amp lines are used most of the time in RVs. If you have a 15-amp 120-volt line, it's basically an extension cord. This type of line will not work with the surge protector we use. I hope this makes sense because we aren't using pics to help show what we are talking about. If you need more help, you are welcome to email me some pics with questions at mike@rvblogger.com. Thanks! Mike
or under the dinetter ares on the first trailer, put uner the be storage boxes tghat can be pulled in and out. If you unscrew plywood, would the seat now slide around?
Thanks for watching Roger...not sure about unscrewing the plywood but maybe? Hope you have a great week! Mike
when you flip it to move the fold, will it still fold up? Did they do it that way because it is the only way to fold?
No you have to flip it back around or it will not fold up.
"I like the curtains - there is nothing to break." LOL. Wise words Mike.
ahhh...thank you grasshopper! lol We've had enough stuff break that I now know less breaking makes my life so much easier! Thanks for watching! Mike
Calling the Ibex a travel trailer seems a misnomer. It does look like a destination tiny home, however. With all that glass, you'd want to use it in a place with only mild or no winter weather.
We think that this trend may continue. But we agree that these are more like destination trailers but with the market moving more toward a residential feel we expect some other manufacturers to build their own versions of this type of trailer and they will improve the design as that happens...like less glass and a closet in the Master Bedroom. Thanks for always watching and commenting Amy! Mike and Susan
Hi ,this is a cool video im looking for a travel trailer with full outdoor kitchen and the dry weight needs to be lower than 7k ,do you have any idea ? Thank you
I use RVTrader.com to find trailers with certain features because their filters work so well. They don't have a filter for outdoor kitchen so I entered it as a keyword and set the weight for 8,000 GVWR and here are the 117 trailers that popped up Nationwide in my search. I copied the URL for you: www.rvtrader.com/Travel-Trailer/rvs-for-sale?keyword=outdoor%20kitchen&type=Travel%20Trailer%7C198073&grossVehicleWeight=%2A%3A8000&sort=relevance%3Adesc Hope this helps: Mike
@@RVBlogger thank you i will definitely check this out later 👍more power on your vlog
On the clipper 12000 rok why would they make the heater electric 🙄
Many manufacturers are moving away from propane and indstalling electric heat instead...

Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽 🇺🇸
Nailed it!
Where is the closet in the Ibex bedroom?
Hmmm...I think the back deck is where the closet would be.
There are a couple of cabinets and drawers but with all the windows it would make more sense to change clothing in the bathroom. That is where the large wardrobe is located.
I’d just sleep in the fold out couch with a foam topper.
The foam toppers don't really make the couch comfy - but I'm 58. You must be much younger - lol! Thanks for watching! Mike
Happy Father's Day 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤😊😊 I like the IBX mode. If I could change 1thing. I would prefer a farm house sink.
Thanks so much!!! Those farm house sinks are nice! Hope you have a great week! Mike
I like the ibex. But wish it was not green. ( my least favorite color). The Lance is super nice too.
Paint it! I agree the Lance is nice too. Hope you have a great day! Mike
Where would i get the brass elbow water hook up ?
You can get them on Amazon. Here is a link to a 2 pack - always best to keep an extra around. Hope it helps: amzn.to/3RwaZ53 Mike
The open storage in #1 seems like a bunch of useless space. #2 forget the voice controls and knock 30K off the price! #3...100K for a trailer for 2? Yikes!
Prices and features are insane! The manufacturers are making these campers very residential... Thanks for watching! Mike
I like the Ibex the best. I really like that they used green instead of varying shades of brown or grey. And having outdoor space is great, not to mention a washer/dryer combo! It sounds like the Lance is better built but I don't like the floorplan as much. Didn't really care much for the first one. I checked the Ibex on line and RV Trader has some for $45,00, not a bad price.
Great job checking RVTrader for prices!!!! We show the MSRP but nobody should ever pay MSRP. Thanks for your comment! Mike
@@RVBlogger You're welcome! I love your content.
